I never imagined that a $100 investment in pre-packaged wholesale lingerie and the trunk of my muscle car would be the humble beginnings of something that would grow into PlayrotiX. But life, with all its twists and turns, has a way of forging strength from the most unlikely places.

Back in 2011, in Denver, Colorado, I set out on a mission fueled by raw passion and relentless conviction. Actually, I would approach women anywhere in public, parks, laundromats, sidewalks, with a handmade catalog book showcasing hundreds of lingerie pieces from various manufacturers, along with the select few I carried with me at the time. Mohawk high, goatee sharp, every pitch was a win. I was more than a salesman, I was a man laying bare his dreams, offering women not just lingerie, but a chance to reclaim their beauty, sensuality and confidence. One woman looked at me for a long moment before nodding and smiling, saying, “I like not only your courage, but your mission.” That “yes” was a lifeline, a quiet validation in a world that often felt hostile.

What I didn’t know then is that she wouldn’t be the only one. Every woman since has said yes. To this day, I am still at awe at how not once has one woman refused to buy, I am dumbfounded today. It was never about the lingerie. It was about belief. Not just mine, theirs. The kind that lives behind the eyes. The kind that knows power doesn’t ask permission. 

Though, that year tested me like no other. The two divorces came like tidal waves, each one washing away the stability I thought I had. I recall the nights curled up on cold concrete stairwells, or laundromat tables shivering at times, hearing the distant hum of the city that seemed to carry on without me. Eventually I slept in the backseat of my race car the last couple of days before making a difficult decision, a sanctuary and a cell all at once. I left the State of Colorado. I can still feel the sting of leaving my children behind, how my chest tightened every time I thought of their faces, how that ache drove me to keep pushing forward when all I wanted was to give up in life many times.

Depression wasn’t just a shadow, it was a relentless companion. Some days, it whispered lies so convincing that I believed I was unworthy. But even then, PlayrotiX was the ember I held onto, a fragile, flickering hope. Just over a decade later I vowed this brand would be different, rooted in resilience, and fierce empowerment. That's right, over a decade later,  as I sat and battled with depression, other addictions (not drugs), and my HDD, procrastinating. Pain and darkness reign over me..... a difficult battle. To this day one thing remains to hurt, loosing that time away from my kids. Something you can't get back. Yes, still hurts.

Over time, my vision evolved. Over a decade later, I made the deliberate choice to re-open PlayrotiX, and move away from intimate toys, choosing instead to dedicate myself entirely to crafting sustainable, fashion that blends sophistication with unapologetic, ethical sexy elegance. I recall the moment I felt like holding the future in my hands.

At PlayrotiX, resilience is not a virtue, it’s the sacred defiance we were born from, the ritual fire that forged our myth. Re-born from personal challenge and refined through conviction. PlayrotiX has evolved into a rising global force. With the private unveiling of our third international operational site, we mark a decisive milestone, not merely of growth, but of rooted expansion into countries, rich with craft, culture, and potential.

 I have and will continue to hand over the reins (operations) of PlayrotiX to women, one country at a time. The future is theirs to lead. The future is theirs to shape. 

From day one, 2011, PlayrotiX has been entirely self-funded, a rare feat in luxury. As the founder I still drive a truck full-time for another local company, not as an obligation but as a conscious act of sovereignty. This independence grants PlayrotiX the agility to make decisions unbound by outside pressures. It preserves our freedom to honor uncompromising quality, sustainable practices, and human dignity.

At the core of our legacy are our artisans, the living hands behind the high-quality detail PlayrotiX is known for. We offer 2 to 3 times the local minimum wage, but compensation is just the beginning. Our mission is to elevate their lives, not simply their labor. We provide nutritious meals, wellness exercise like Zumba, and a structured, balanced work environment that caps at 10 hours a day, 4 days a week, with 3 day weekends reserved for renewal. We do not demand burnout in pursuit of brilliance. We force our Team to enjoy life with their friends & families. Overall, all of our production areas are open for public tours, by appointment..... This is True Transparency, Authenticity. We believe that a high level of quality is achieved through integrity and a complete process. 

And still, the customer who wears PlayrotiX  reclaims her sensuality, her confidence, her power. She becomes a mirror of the very process that built us: fragmented, reassembled, and risen.

We do not create for mass consumption. We create to leave an indelible mark, on the body, the soul, and the earth. This is a singular blend of artisan brilliance, operational devotion, and unapologetic womanhood.
