PlayrotiX didn’t begin with couture.
It began with love, loss, and one last chance.

In 2011, in Denver, Colorado, I held my kids close, their presence forever engraved in the fire that started it all. My children were "part" of my reason then, and they still are. The other part was something harder to name, a desperate hope to rekindle love, in myself, in relationships, and in the world around me.

I never imagined that a $100 investment in wholesale lingerie and the trunk of my muscle car would one day become the seed of PlayrotiX. But life, with its brutal twists and unexpected awakenings, forges strength in the most unlikely places.

Back then, I carried handmade catalogs and samples, walking from bus stations to laundromats, sidewalks to parking lots, anywhere someone might stop long enough to listen. Mohawk high, goatee sharp, I was a one-man mission wrapped in faith and defiance. I wasn’t just selling lingerie. I was offering women a mirror, one that reflected back their power, beauty, and confidence.

I’ll never forget the first woman who said yes. She looked at me for a long, quiet moment before smiling and saying, “I like not only your courage, but your mission.”
That single “yes” felt like oxygen in a world that wanted me to suffocate.

What I didn’t realize then was that every woman after her would say yes too.
Not because of lace or silk, but because of belief, in my courage, pur;ose, and words of "Feel Beautiful". Not just mine. Theirs. The kind of belief that lives behind the eyes. The kind that knows power never asks permission. 

That same year tested me beyond measure. Two divorces crashed over me like tidal waves. Stability evaporated. Nights turned into cold concrete beds, stairwells, laundromat tables, the backseat of my race car. My sanctuary became my cell.

Leaving Colorado, and leaving my children, was a pain words can barely touch. Every mile away from them burned through all of us. That ache became my compass when everything else was gone. Depression didn’t whisper; it roared. It convinced me I was unworthy. It became my shadow, my mirror, my test. But even in the darkness, I held onto one ember: PlayrotiX. A fragile flicker of hope that refused to die.

Over a decade later, after wrestling with depression, other addictions (not drugs nor alcohol), and my own mind’s chaos (Inattentive ADHD, just to name one), I made a choice: To rebuild, not from ego, but from essence.

PlayrotiX was reborn not as a lingerie brand, but as a sanctuary of sustainable luxury, fashion that fuses sophistication with unapologetic, ethical, sensual power. It’s couture, yes, but born from survival, not privilege.

Every piece now carries a story of sacred defiance, the fire that forged us.

And with the opening of our third international operational site, PlayrotiX stands not as a brand of clothing, but as a living movement, expanding into cultures rich with craft, artistry, and resilience.

PlayrotiX has always been, and will remain, self-funded. I still drive a truck full-time. Not from necessity, but from sovereignty. That independence gives us freedom, to honor quality, to reject exploitation, to stay human in a world obsessed with speed.

And now, I am passing that freedom on.
Country by country, PlayrotiX is being placed in the hands of women, to lead, to shape, to define its future.

Theirs is the next chapter. Theirs is the flame.

At the soul of PlayrotiX are our artisans, the living hands behind every thread. We pay two to three times the local minimum wage, but our mission goes deeper: to elevate their lives, not just their labor.
They receive nutritious meals, wellness programs, and a balanced 4-day workweek.

We don’t glorify burnout in the name of brilliance.

We honor life, friendship, family, and renewal.

Our production spaces are open to public tours. Nothing to hide. Everything to share.

That is true transparency. That is authenticity. 

PlayrotiX is not just fashion.
It is the story of a father’s heartbreak turned into hope.

It is proof that pain can become purpose, and that resilience, real, raw, relentless, can be beautiful.
